Travelling by car
The quickest and simplest route to Castelrotto by car is to take the A22 Brennero motorway.
Coming from the north take the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit, then continue along the state road towards Bolzano and turn off at Ponte Gardena in the direction of Altopiano dello Sciliar - Castelrotto. In the village centre turn right into Marinzenweg and continue to the end of this road.
Coming from the south take the Bolzano Nord exit, continue towards Prato all'Isarco and then follow the signs to Altopiano dello Sciliar / Fiè allo Sciliar - Siusi allo Sciliar -Castelrotto. In the centre of the village of Castelrotto turn right into Marinzenweg and continue to the end of this road.

Mobility on site
We recommend that hikers, cross-country skiers and snow-shoe hikers should obtain a Combi Card, which gives you unlimited travel on the Alpe di Siusi cable cars, the Alpe di Siusi Express, the bus service around Alpe di Siusi and the Nightliner service.
In winter our own hotel shuttle takes our guests free of charge to the Alpe di Siusi cable car in Siusi allo Sciliar.

Out and about in South Tyrol...
The South Tyrol Mobilcard allows you to use all the regional public transport free of charge. Culture lovers are recommended to buy the Museummobil Card, which, as well as allowing transport free of charge, also offers free entry to more than 80 museums and collections. For cycling fans the Bike Card gives the option of bike and rail. All cards can be obtained from the Tourist Office. All details

Arrival by rail
We recommend that rail passengers arrive at the station at Bressanone or Bolzano. Then take the bus to Castelrotto, every half hour from Bolzano, every hour from Bressanone.
