Travelling by car
The quickest and simplest route to Castelrotto by car is to take the A22 Brennero motorway.
Coming from the north take the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit, then continue along the state road towards Bolzano and turn off at Ponte Gardena in the direction of Altopiano dello Sciliar - Castelrotto. In the village centre turn right into Marinzenweg and continue to the end of this road.
Coming from the south take the Bolzano Nord exit, continue towards Prato all'Isarco and then follow the signs to Altopiano dello Sciliar / Fiè allo Sciliar - Siusi allo Sciliar -Castelrotto. In the centre of the village of Castelrotto turn right into Marinzenweg and continue to the end of this road. Mobility on site
We recommend that hikers, cross-country skiers and snow-shoe hikers
should obtain a Combi Card, which gives you unlimited travel on the Alpe di Siusi cable cars, the Alpe di Siusi Express, the bus service around Alpe di Siusi and the Nightliner service.
