Alpe di Siusi is the largest contiguous and also the most beautiful high-alpine plateau in Europe. Measuring 57 km², it is the size of 8,000 football pitches.
The plateau below Sciliar Mountain lies at an altitude of between 1,680 m and 2,530 m above sea level in the South Tyrolean Dolomites and is shaped by the mountain peaks of Sciliar Mountain, Sassolungo
and Sasso Piatto
