The quickest and easiest way to reach Kastelruth by car is via the A22 Brenner motorway: Coming from the north, take the Klausen/Gröden exit, then continue on the state road in the direction of Bozen/Bolzano and turn off at Waidbruck into the Schlern area to Kastelruth. In the village centre, turn right into Marinzenweg and follow the road to the end. Coming from the south, take the Bolzano Nord exit, continue to Blumau and then follow the signs to Schlerngebiet/Völs-Seis-Kastelruth. In the village centre of Kastelruth turn right into Marinzenweg and follow the road to the end.
With the bus companies Silbernagl or Südtirol Bus you can travel easily and comfortably from Munich to South Tyrol. We will be happy to advise you.
We recommend the train stations Brixen/Bressanone or Bozen/Bolzano for rail travellers. Take the bus to Kastelruth every half hour from Bolzano and every hour from Bressanone.
Fly from Berlin to Innsbruck or from Frankfurt to Munich and Verona.
Also check the flights from your nearest airport.
For hikers, cross-country skiers and snowshoe hikers we recommend the Combi card, which gives you unlimited use of the Seiser Alm cable car, the Seiser Alm Express, the bus service around the Seiser Alm and the Nightliner. In winter, our hotel shuttle takes our guests to the Seiser Alm cable car in Seis free of charge. So leave your car behind.
The South Tyrol mobilcard allows you to use all regional public transport free of charge.
